|Laude has been part of the team at Elaj since 2008. She is dual licensed in skin care and massage so she can perform all of the Aveda facials, waxing, massages and body treatments offered at the spa. She has been practicing massage therapy since 1994 and received her training at the Baltimore School of Massage.
Laude attended the Aveda Institute in D.C. to obtain her Esthetics License and has been performing skin care and waxing since 2008. She enjoys being able to provide a service that enhances client well-being. Her philosophy is to provide the best possible service for clients based on their expressed concerns, the texture of their soft tissues, and her intuitive sense of the most appropriate techniques and products to apply.
Her massage specialty is helping to reduce low back pain and neck and shoulder pain. She has performed sports massage therapy for various collegiate athletes, some internationally ranked. She is also a certified Medical Massage Therapist and has been referred by physicians to treat fragile oncology clients. Currently, Laude is the Montgomery County Massage Therapy Representative for the Maryland Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association. Her hobby is applying equine massage to enhance the well being of valuable, injured and neglected performance horses.|
|Jami joined the Elaj Massage Team in April 2012. She is a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage in 2000 when she began her "hands-on healing" career in massage therapy. She is a member of the NCBTMB and is Nationally Certified in Massage & Bodywork. Jami specializes in the AVEDA Chakra Balancing Massage which focuses on deep tissue back work, reflexology, energy work & guided meditation. Jami also specializes in Sports, Deep Tissue, Stress Relief & Swedish massage techniques. Jami is also certified in Access Consciousness, and she is an established professional Angel Card Reader. Her readings bring gentle, uplifting messages that help her clients transform, clarify, illuminate and heal in all areas of life. All together, with Jami, you are getting an integral look at your true self and a safe place to heal in a holistically respectful method.|
|Lynn comes to Elaj with a wealth of talent in massage therapy. Graduating from Columbia College's massage therapy program in 2009 she is certified in many modalities including Hot Stone, Reflexology, Prenatal, Sports, Lymphatic, Craniosacral with a unique focus on Deep Tissue Massage with Trigger Point. If you are suffering pain from sciatic nerve issues Lynn also is a specialist in relieving these issues. She is originally from Korea and has been in the United States for five years. She enjoys time with her 3 children and is currently studying to be an Esthetician. Lynn is available at Elaj to perform massage on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.|
|Kerrie received her massage therapy training in 2002 at the Allied Medical College in St. Louis, Missouri where she is originally from. Kerrie is passionate about using natural means (massage and energy work) to promote health and facilitate the body's natural healing process.
She combines a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Reflexology to create an intuitive, individualized relaxing massage. Kerrie specializes in both stress relief and relaxation massage. She is also a Reiki Master Practitioner, and is working on becoming a Reiki Master Teacher.
In her spare time, Kerrie enjoys reading, writing poetry and spending time with her son. She is working part time at Elaj in the evenings and on the weekends. She looks forward to seeing all of the guests for massage therapy at Elaj.|
|Mark is a member of the massage therapy team at Elaj and has been practicing Spiritual Healing for the past twenty years. He is originally from Korea and has been in the United States for 8 years. He studied Massage Therapy at Columbia College graduating in 2009. His main focus is Energy Healing, Shiatsu & Acupressure and also performs Hot Stone, Pre-Natal, Deep Tissue, Foot Reflexology, & Sports Massages. In his spare time he practices Oriental Martial Arts and Sports Climbing as well as enjoying time with his wife and three children. Mark is available on Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays at Elaj for massage therapy.|
